Information about the Secretariat's projects

The secretariats work is divided into two main categories; Institution building and Private Sector Development. The focus in the different projects varies and is adapted to the specific needs of our partners and the Organization with whom we cooperate.

Institution building consists of strenghtening NHO's sister organisations in developing countries. Private sector development is an overreaching goal and professional employer organisations can help create the business conditions that allow this to take place.

NHO and its sister organistions:

Long term commitments based on respect and mutual learning

Different programmes based on the needs and wishes of the cooperation partners

Staged deployment of programmes from "basic" to advanced

Introduction of new themes and a shift toward business to business as programmes mature

Regional programmes between partner countries within the NHO circle
