Representatives from NHO's sister organisations in Africa and Asia visit Oslo

Last week the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise - NHO Secretariat for Private Sector Development hosted a one week study tour for representatives and coordinators of NHO's joint programs with sister organisations in Angola, Uganda, Kenya, Vietnam, Indonesia and Ethiopia.

The field trip whose program was conducted in Oslo provided the12 representatives with the opportunity to share information and learn from each other about their different experiences.

Participants were presented with the different issue areas NHO works with and is involved in. The main objective of the program was a one day seminar on results based management reporting, this was conducted by an expert in the field, Anette Simonsen. Participants also made presentations about their organisations highlighting the different activities that NHO with financing from Norad is involved in.

The field trip included excursions to the Kon-tiki Museum, the Norwegian Maritime Museum and the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History in Oslo. The delegation also took part in celebrations marking the Norwegian Constitutional Day on the 17^th of May.
