Norway's NOx goal reached in 2014

Norway's NOx emissions has dropped by 5,4 per cent in 2014, which means that Norway has met its commitments by a wide margin in regards to the Gothenburg Protocol. Norway's NOx emissions are 8 000 tonnes below the commitment of 156 000 tonnes.


The preliminary calculations shows that the decrease in NOx emissions is primarily due to reduced emissions from coastal traffic and fishery , but also other activities have had reduction, writes Statistics Norway (SSB).
