Companies that join the NOx Agreement are entitled to a tax exemption from the tax of 22.27 NOK per kg NOx to the state from the date that the enterprise affiliate to the NOx Agreement.

Measures implemented after 01.01.2018 can receive an investment support rate of either NOK 250 or 500 per kg NOx reduced.
The NOx Fund has launched a support program for retrofit of battery systems on PSVs on long term contracts in Norway. The application deadline is 30 June 2018, provided that there are still funds available under the support program.
